- Do not go to Thanksgiving dinner hungry;
- Do not use Thanksgiving as an all-you-can-eat buffet;
- Eat skinless turkey;
- Watch your portion size;
- Limit your high fat items;

- Cook with lower-fat or fat-free ingredients;
- Use leftover turkey for healthy meals - soups with fresh vegetables, sandwiches.
