New Years Resolution 2011 - Keep It Simple and Realistic

Health/Life Tip Week December 27 - 31, 2010

Good Day, Cor-Les Community I pray all is well. 2010 was an amazing year for Health Care and fighting against overweight and obesity among our youth & young adults with the signing of the Child Nutrition Bill into law.

As you go into 2011 make realistic and simple goals

                         


Simple Goals:
  • Develop a relationship with God
  • Keep your word
  • Be kind
  • Eliminate stress
  • Schedule and follow through with all doctors appointments:
    • General physical
    • Dentist
    • Eye 
    • Hearing
    • Colonoscopy
    • Mammogram (women) 
    • Prostate (men)
  • Be consistent - exercising, walking, reading, staying peaceful
  • Forgive and let go (people and stuff)
  • Eat more fruits, vegetables and  whole grains
  • Drink more water and low calorie beverages
  • Cut down on unnecessary empty calories, sweets
  • Reduce alcohol and drug use (total abstinence is the goal)  
  • Give more to charities and personal donations
