Have a Great Weekend

Have a great weekend Cor-Les Community

Continue to appreciate every breath, every step, and  every relationship. If you are reading this post God remembered you today and you have to give thanks. Somebody today did not or could not:
  • Get up
  • Breathe without the assistance of an oxygen tank
  • Go to the bathroom without assistance (person, walker, or cane)
  • Eat  or swallow today
  • Hear or speak
  • Lost eye sight and hearing, arm, leg, hand, or foot
  • Just found out they have Cancer, Lupus, Sickle Cell, HIV/AIDS, Heart Disease, High Blood pressure,  High Cholesterol, Diabetes,  a terminal illness, etc.
  • Lost a child, spouse, parent,  or good friend
  • Lost their job, home, or car
  • Somebody was murdered, raped, assaulted, stabbed, shot, beat-up, disrespected, in a car accident, plane crash, or drowned, etc.

The list can go on.... The key is to be thankful every second and moment of the day because God has ordained each one of us to do something during our journey here. Do not let your time in the earth realm be unfulfilled. If you do not know Ask God what would you like me to do? and whatever it is give me wisdom, knowledge, and strength to do it.

Send us your gratitude statements. What are you really thankful for?

Live well

Wow, Aunt Rarie, that was so well said! We have so much to be thankful for, yet we are so ungrateful. My mom always said," no matter what happens always be thankful. Be thankful for what you have because you have so much and there are so many people who don't. Just be thankful!Be thankful for your health and strength. Be thankful that you have parents that love you and provide for you!" The list goes on. She used to drill it in our heads. LOL. Also, you made an awesome point when you said, "Ask God what would you like me to do? and whatever it is give me wisdom, knowledge, and strength to do it." I really, really like that statement! It's so true. I pray everyday that God will just use me some way, some how. Whether it's through intercession, healing or just giving an encouraging word. God did not put us on this earth to be useless and take up space, but to be fruitfull and fulfill His will. All we have to do is Ask!
