Health Tip - Hard Shell Nuts

Hard Shell "Nuts" are natures richest foods.
They have healthy protein and fats.

Hard Shell Nuts : Cashew.Almonds.Filbert . Use it for a health concept.

Nuts are an energy riched snack food.
 A great mid morning or mid afternoon treat.

There are over 300 types of Nuts.

Nuts are the fruit or seed that follows the blossoming of the tree.
They are usually contained in a hard shell to protect them from birds, insects, and germs and also to keep them fresh, since the concentrated oils contained in nuts can easily rancidify and spoil in the air.
   
                                                 
Some Hard Shell Nuts (slightly bitter):

Soft Shell Nuts (sweeter nut):

Almonds are the most all-around Nut:
  • Low fat content (polyunsaturated)
  • Protein concentration
  • Low sodium (low selenium)
  • High in Linoleic acid (an essential oil)
  • Holds scents in fragrant oils (massage therapy)

  • Calcium
  • Copper
  • Iron
  • Zinc
  • Potassium
  • Phosphorus
  • Magnesium and Manganese

Remember!
Eating Nuts Raw (almonds, walnuts and hazelnuts) are the best.
We make the Nut unhealthy when we roast it, add salt, sugar and other additives.
